What On Earth Are They Saying?

Watch the video
The election is approaching. Things are happening in the world. I have no idea what these people are trying to say to me. Many thanks to the good people at Media Matters.

You continue to make me laugh and to make me think harder about the things around me in the process. Thanks Dave.

Yes! that was great. I also have no idea what those people are tring to tell me, I think your version may make more sense. and I liked the build-up, I felt it.

Pure rubberish!
That's waht they're talking about.

I loved the crescendo....

it's a scary world. a world in which our leaders are not communicating with us. what are they telling us? nothing. because they don't want us to listen. and they, themselves are refusing to listen.

thanks for sharing Dave.

Yeah! This mirrors my own experience trying to interpret the daily news. Also reminds me of the great work of Martin Arnold--do you know it? Check it out here: http://www.r12.at/arnold/pages/alone/alone.html

Ah yes, cable news chanels, working hard to bring nothing to us, 24/7. Thanks for the new update, it does something other people are afraid to do, and that's ask a question. Thanks again.

This is a bit different from what I have begun to grow accustomed to seeing from you on these pages. It is a different view of sorts but still here in lies struggle and searching and fighting for something more.
Dave, its good to hear from you again. You've been missed. It is also super neat to see the influence you have had on your students.
As for "main stream" media, and politics, maybe I don't understand, personally, cause I don't pay them much mind. Maybe I should try but then again maybe then I'll just find for myself that they can't be understood.

Nice. I would have loved ifyou had been able to recreate Kurt Schwitter's Ursonate. But still quite nice.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent stuff, been meaning to comment. Very strong. I like the subtle use of strings in the background. Not sure if you needed the drum beats to push it along at the end. Don't be afraid to make it ugly and not give anyone anything to hold on to. Other than that the editing/sound/pacing is amazing.

Lovely, as always...

the ending is priceless.

Freakin' brilliant

Ok, so this tecnique has been done a million times before...but the way you crafted it is takes it to a whole new level.

Nice work
