Welcome to my ongoing experiment in micro media. Video blogging is a weird and unpredictable exercise. I'm translating ideas, moments, and bits of my life into 90-second chunks of video. Feel free to let me know what you think, and thanks for visiting!

Vlog Post: What I Did Over Summer Vacation

I'm well aware of the contrast. I don't know what to think or feel about it, and I'm not comfortable with it.

Listen in.

Vlog Post: Extraordinary Things

Hutch wants to know what I've seen that's extraordinary. Here's my video response! This one is 120 seconds instead of 90 because, well, it's extraordinary.

Extra your ordinary.

Vlog Post: Collaboration

A discussion on the Yahoo!groups videoblogging list is brainstorming ways vloggers can sustain our work in the face of other pressures and constraints. This video shows how I try to get the edge on time management.

Vlog Post: I Am a North American

Lindsay Musser is a young documentary photographer who has travelled in Latin America and Europe. Recently I tutored her in Final Cut Pro as a way of presenting her photography in non-traditional ways. This is a motion presentation of some of her photographs intended to introduce the concepts and techniques we would explore together.

The video presentation is by me, using orginal photographs by Lindsay Musser.

Experimental Video Dance of Superhuman Joy

Today as I was working on video projects, I was happy. And as I continued to work, I just got happier and happier. This video is shorter than 90 seconds, because being this happy is exhausting.

Watch the joy.
