Welcome to my ongoing experiment in micro media. Video blogging is a weird and unpredictable exercise. I'm translating ideas, moments, and bits of my life into 90-second chunks of video. Feel free to let me know what you think, and thanks for visiting!

Lorem Ipsum, Part 7 of 15

Lorem Ipsum, part 7 of 15

This is part 7 of a 15-part story released in series through my videoblog. A new part will be released every few days. When the last part is released, the whole story will be available for download.

In part 7, Garrison stops by the local newspaper office where he used to work.

Trying to watch the video however Firefox keeps crashing on my less than 30 seconds in.

I guess the lastest version of Quicktime 7 for Windows isnt really all it's cracked up to be.

As an update. Most H.264 compressed movies crash Firefox on my machine if they are larger resolutions. Don't quite understand as my machine is a P4 3.0 with 2 gigs of memory so it should be able to handle it rather easily.

yes this is frustrating. H264 is punchy on the new video enabled iPod as well. It is such a visually fantastic codec with sall file sizes, even though it is processor intensive. I hope that devices and player software across the board can adjust soon. In the meantime I'm trying to figure out how to compress my videos so that they are as friendly as possible. Thanks for being inetrested, and keep stopping by to see if I've made any headway.
